\nIn 2017, Directive (EU) 2017\/2398 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2017 amending Directive 2004\/37\/EC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. This amendment indicates the inclusion of work involving exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust generated in a work process and establishes a limit value for respirable crystalline silica dust (“respirable fraction”) to be subject to review, particularly in light of the number of workers exposed.
\nThis kit for particle measurement developed by INGESOM is a solution that complies with the new regulations established in the EU, and also with the Royal Decree 665\/1997 that came into force in Spain on January 17, 2020.
